Our Pastor, Ben Alexander, is a native of Chapel Hill.  He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke Divinity School.  An ordained Elder, Ben served as the Associate Pastor at Front Street UMC in Burlington prior to his appointment to our church in June of 2011.  He and his wife Sarah have a toddler, Thomas.  Ben enjoys spending time reading, hiking, drinking coffee, cheering for the Tar Heels, hanging with his family and friends, and walking the dog, Donnie. Our Youth Director, Megan grew up in Knightdale, NC and attended college at UNC-Chapel Hill.  After college she moved to Denver, CO where she discovered her passion for youth ministry.  She returned to the South to attend the Candler School of Theology at Emory University where she received a Master of Theological Studies degree in May 2011.  Megan is thrilled to finally be back in North Carolina.  Her favorite things are Jesus and helping young people serve and follow Him, but she also likes reading, hiking, and drinking coffee a lot too.  (megan.elizabeth.deluca@gmail.com)

Our Children’s Ministry Director, Stephanie Smith grew up in Raleigh, NC and attended college at Appalachian State University, in Boone, NC.  She has been an active member of PUMC for 10 yrs.  Stephanie and her husband, Chip, live  Pittsboro and have 4 children Rachel, Sarah Grace, Lucas and Leah.  She enjoys reading, hunting, being around children, family and friends, taking in nature, sports and the NC State Wolfpack! Our Organist and Music Director, Rodney grew up in Bear Creek, North Carolina.  He is a graduate of Campbell University with a degree in business administration and accounting, and studied music at the college level as well.  Rodney has been employed with the North Carolina Office of the Commissioner of Banks in Raleigh for 21 years. Rodney enjoys spending time with family and friends and learning new music.  One of the highlights in Rodney’s life is playing for worship services and providing music that brings glory to God (roldham@nccob.gov)

Our Administrative Assistant, Kelly Perry grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia and attended college in Charlotte, NC.  She has been an active member of Pittsboro UMC for 22 years.  Kelly and her husband Tommy have a daughter, Candace, who is a sophomore at NC State.  She loves spending time with her family, friends and her church family.
